Buy UK eSIM review: prices, coverage and our verdict

Prices and value

Plans are sold by data amount in fixed sizes. The price block beside this section shows its current prices per country.

Check the destination you need in that block for the current price of each plan size.

The site is open about why. Its travel eSIM page says its prices sit above stores that take a card and a passport, and that the difference pays for buying without an identity. If that matters to you, the premium may be worth it; if not, you are paying for something you do not need.

Coverage and networks

Its own site says 190+ countries and regions, and alongside single-country plans it sells regional packs for Europe (30+ countries), Asia, North America, South America, Africa and the Middle East, plus two global plans. The country list beside this section shows where it sells plans.

Its terms say it is a reseller rather than a mobile network, and its about page says travel data comes through a wholesale eSIM partner. The eSIM roams on local partner networks, so Data Roaming must be switched on. Its own guide also warns that the data often exits through another country: its catalogue lists the UK plans as breaking out in France, the Netherlands or the UK, which can matter for banking apps or geo-locked services.

Plans and flexibility

Plans are sold by data amount, typically 1 GB to 20 GB. Validity runs from 7 to 180 days, though most of the headline plans on its site run for 7 or 30 days. According to its FAQ, most plans start on first network use in the destination, so you can buy before you travel.

Top-ups are supported: you open the order with its 8-character code and add more data to the same eSIM, with nothing to reinstall. Unused data does not roll over once a plan ends. It has no unlimited plans.

Travel eSIMs are data only, with no phone number. The brand's main product is separate: a UK +44 number on an eSIM for incoming SMS and calls, sold for $25 for the first six months and $15 per six months after that (its prices are in US dollars). It has no data and cannot make outgoing calls or texts. A bundle sells both in one checkout.

Buying, setup and the app

There is no app and no account. You pick a plan on the website, choose one of 12 cryptocurrencies, and send the exact amount shown. Its FAQ says faster coins such as USDT on Tron usually confirm in a minute or two, and Bitcoin or Monero take longer. Once the payment confirms, the QR code and manual activation details appear on the order page. An email copy is optional.

You install the eSIM over Wi-Fi by scanning the QR or entering the details by hand, then switch on Data Roaming for the line. Its help pages ask you to turn off any VPN or private DNS while the profile downloads. Unlike its UK number, a travel eSIM's QR stays on the order page, so you can reopen it later with your order code.

Its site also offers reminders before a plan ends, through a calendar file, the Telegram bot or an optional email.

Support and refunds

Support runs through live chat on every page, listed on its contact page as 24/7, and a Telegram bot, @buyukesimbot. It answers in English, Turkish, German, Spanish, Chinese and Russian, and email is kept for bulk orders, partnerships and legal requests. Its terms say it aims to reply to complaints within 48 hours.

The refund policy, updated in July 2026, is clear but strict. It does not refund a working plan you changed your mind about, the wrong country chosen, or a plan that was used. It does review delivery failures, duplicate or wrong-amount payments, and a travel eSIM that does not work, and says it settles cases within 24 to 48 hours, refunding in the crypto you paid with or issuing a replacement. It warns that crypto payments are final, so you should contact support before anything else.

Is Buy UK eSIM legit?

Buy UK eSIM is run by a small team that does not publish its names, company or country, which it says is deliberate. Its about page states the domain was registered on 20 December 2025, so it is a very young service. It publishes a PGP key, a warrant canary and a Tor address.

It has no Trustpilot profile and no app-store ratings. The reviews on its own site (4.8 from 359 reviews in October 2026) are hosted by the shop itself. On KYCnot.me it scores 7 out of 10, with privacy 86 and trust 49 (October 2026), but that listing is marked as an unreviewed community entry with a penalty for being a new service. Its own legit page reports a ScamAdviser score of 67 out of 100 as of September 2026.

In short, there are signs of a genuine, privacy-focused shop, but little independent track record yet. Its own advice is to try a small travel plan first, which is sensible.
