Wanderly sells both fixed-data plans and daily plans, and shows prices in USD, EUR and GBP. The price block beside this section shows its current prices per country.

The live price bars show its best rate per GB for the country you choose, so use them rather than a headline figure.

Ordinary prepaid plans do not auto-renew. Cryptocurrency is also accepted at checkout when available.

Coverage and networks

The country list beside this review shows where Wanderly has plans. Alongside single-country plans, it sells regional plans.

Wanderly's help centre advises checking the country list for every place you plan to visit, as regional plans cover different countries. It also says coverage is not guaranteed indoors, in rural areas or on transit routes, and that speed, latency and IP location vary, so you should not assume a local IP address.

Plans and flexibility

Wanderly's plans last from 1 day to 365 days. It sells both fixed-data plans and daily plans. Its help centre warns that an unlimited label does not promise unlimited high-speed data, so check each plan's high-speed allowance, reset period and reduced-speed terms.

According to its site, eligible plans can be topped up from your dashboard. If a plan does not support top-ups, you buy another eSIM instead. Plans are data-only and do not include a phone number for calls or texts, though you can keep your home line active alongside the eSIM.

Hotspot sharing depends on the plan. Its hotspot guide says you can share data when the selected plan permits it, that some plans have a separate tethering cap, and that hotspot may continue at reduced speed after the high-speed limit. Ordinary prepaid plans do not auto-renew.

Buying, setup and the app

You can pay by credit or debit card, including Apple Pay and Google Pay where your device supports them, and Wanderly's payment page says no account is needed for a card purchase. Cryptocurrency is offered at checkout when available: you pay a crypto invoice, and the coins and networks are shown on it. You can also use wallet balance from a top-up, referral reward or refund. Prices are available in USD, EUR and GBP. Depending on the checkout, payment is handled by Stripe or by Zotlo, a UK merchant of record that also takes PayPal.

To install, Wanderly's guide describes a one-tap install link on recent iOS and Android versions, a QR code, or manual entry of the SM-DP+ address and activation code. Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked.

Wanderly has an app for iOS and Android. Eligible first-time users can claim one free eSIM in the app only, with the data allowance depending on destination and validity typically 7 days from activation. A card check through Stripe may be requested, but you are not charged.

Support and refunds

Wanderly says its support team is available 24/7. You can reach it through an in-dashboard support chat, the contact page or by email at support@getwanderly.com. Purchases made through Zotlo are supported by Zotlo itself, through its account portal or by email.

Its refund policy says requests are generally possible within 14 days of purchase, but only if the eSIM has not been fully delivered or accessed. Once delivery or activation begins, you may lose the right to withdraw where the law allows, though mandatory consumer rights for faulty or undelivered services still apply. Approved card refunds go back to the original payment method, wallet refunds go to your wallet balance, and direct crypto payments are refunded as store credit by default. Wanderly's help centre suggests contacting support before installing a plan you may need to return.

Is Wanderly legit?

Wanderly is run by Wanderly Technologies LLC, which its terms describe as a California limited liability company with a contact address in Antioch, California. Its terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. We could not confirm when the company was founded.

Its public track record is still small. Wanderly has a TrustScore of 4.0 on Trustpilot from about 34 reviews (October 2026). We could not find public App Store or Google Play ratings for its app. Its terms only require customers to be 18 or over and do not mention an ID check.
