The bottom line
A young US-run eSIM marketplace with apps on both stores, round-the-clock support, top-ups on some plans and many ways to pay, but most refunds come back as store credit rather than money.
Best for: Travellers who want an app, live support and the choice between total-data and daily unlimited plans

Who runs AloOui
AloOui is a travel eSIM marketplace run by Unitrade LLC, registered in Lewes, Delaware, in the United States. The company was founded in 2023, and AloOui launched publicly in 2025, according to its own story page.
That makes it a young brand, with less public track record than older shops. It does publish a full company name, a registered address and a phone number, which not every small eSIM shop does.
Plans and prices
Plans are sold by country, with a fixed amount of data for the trip or an unlimited option. Unlimited plans are not unlimited at full speed: they give a daily high-speed allowance, for example 1GB a day on the basic tier, and then a reduced speed until the next day.
Higher tiers give more high-speed data each day or a larger pool for the whole trip. Travel plans are data only, but AloOui also sells UK-number plans with calls and texts and separate virtual numbers.
Setup and the app
After you buy, the QR code arrives by email, and you install it over Wi-Fi before you fly. You can also buy and manage plans in the AloOui app for iPhone and Android.
No ID verification is needed to buy, as of October 2026, although local registration rules can still apply in some countries. Each plan has its own activation deadline, so check it on the plan page.
Hotspot and top-ups
Whether you can share data as a hotspot depends on the plan, your device and the local network, the shop says. Check the plan page if you need to connect a laptop.
Some plans can be topped up, for up to six months on those that allow it, and each top-up has its own allowance and duration. That saves installing a new eSIM when your data runs low.
Refunds and support
Refunds to your card are limited. You get your money back only within 55 days, only if the eSIM was never activated, and only if a fault on AloOui's side stopped it from working. A verified fault after activation, a change of mind, a wrong plan or an incompatible phone is settled with store credit at best, which does not expire.
Every claim starts with a technical investigation that can take up to 5 business days. Support runs around the clock by live chat, email at support@travel.alooui.com and a help center, and usually replies within 24 hours.
How we score providers
Each review scores price per GB against the other providers we compare (35%), coverage (20%), plan flexibility (15%), terms such as ID checks, hotspot and refunds (15%), and the app and support (15%). Prices come from our live plan data and terms from each provider's own pages. Affiliate commissions never change a score.

AloOui: questions travellers ask
Can I get my money back if I change my mind?
Not to your card. A change of mind or a wrong plan is refunded as store credit only, and only after AloOui reviews the request.
Are AloOui unlimited plans really unlimited?
They give a daily high-speed allowance and then a reduced speed until the next day. Higher tiers give more high-speed data each day.
Can I top up my AloOui eSIM?
On some plans, yes, for up to six months. The plan page says whether top-ups are available.
Can I use AloOui as a hotspot?
It depends on the plan, your device and the network. Check the plan page before you buy if you need hotspot.
Do I need to show my passport or ID?
No ID verification is needed to buy, as of October 2026. Local registration rules may still apply in some countries.
Is there an AloOui app?
Yes, on the App Store and Google Play. You can buy plans and manage your eSIMs there.
