Our score2.5/5New · online since Aug 2026. This company went online recently, so it has little track record. We take 1 point off our rating until it has been online for a year.

The bottom line

Inbox eSIM is a no-frills, email-only eSIM shop: you pay, the QR code arrives by email and there is no app or account. Its terms are clear and fair, with a 30-day refund on unused eSIMs and hotspot usually allowed. It is a very new brand with no public ratings yet and support by email only.

Best for: Travellers who want a quick data-only eSIM by email, without installing another app or creating an account.

How we score

Pros

  • No app and no account: the QR code and a one-tap install link arrive by email after payment.
  • Country packs plus regional packs: Europe (35 countries), Asia (19) and a Global pack (117), according to its FAQ.
  • Clear refund policy: unused, uninstalled eSIMs can be refunded to the card within 30 days of issue.
  • Hotspot is usually allowed, and the country page says so when a pack forbids it.
  • Day Pass in many countries gives 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps, and the fair-use page explains this plainly.
  • Top-ups on reloadable plans add data and days to the same eSIM, so there is no new QR code.

Cons

  • Prices are listed in US dollars, and its terms say tax may be added at checkout where the law requires it.
  • Fixed packs stop at 50 GB and nothing is sold as unlimited.
  • No app, so data use is checked in the phone settings or on the online order page.
  • Support is by email only, with no live chat or phone line.
  • Very new: the domain was registered in August 2026 and we found no Trustpilot or app store ratings.
  • Data only, with no phone number for calls or texts.

Prices and value

Plans are sold in fixed sizes from 1 GB to 50 GB, plus a Day Pass in many countries. The price block beside this section shows its current prices per country.

The smallest pack is 1 GB for 7 days; most larger packs last 30 days.

The Day Pass is priced by the number of days you choose and gives 3 GB a day at full speed. The price block beside this section shows current prices per country.

Its site lists prices in US dollars, the same for everyone, and card payments are charged in your own currency through Stripe. Its terms say tax may be added at checkout where the law requires it.

Coverage and networks

It sells country packs, regional packs and a Global pack. The country flags and count beside this section show where it works today.

According to its FAQ, the Europe regional pack covers 35 countries, the Asia pack 19 and the Global pack 117. Its FAQ points out that the Europe pack does not include France, which is sold as a separate country pack. Its FAQ also says a few places have no country pack yet, including Taiwan, which is covered by the Asia and Global packs instead.

Inbox eSIM resells plans from a wholesale partner and does not run its own network, so speed depends on the local host network. Its terms say it does not guarantee speed or 5G; each country page shows whether a pack lists LTE, 5G or both. Its FAQ also says it does not promise that blocked apps will work in mainland China.

Plans and flexibility

There are two kinds of plan. Fixed packs run from 1 GB to 50 GB; most last 30 days and the 1 GB pack lasts 7. Validity ranges from 7 to 180 days, with some 50 GB packs in Europe lasting 180 days. Many countries also have a Day Pass, where you choose the number of days and get 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps until the allowance resets.

Its fair-use page is unusually direct: nothing is sold as unlimited, and the Day Pass slowdown is its only cap. Hotspot use counts towards the daily 3 GB. Its fair-use page also notes that a few Day Passes are routed through Hong Kong, which the country page flags.

Top-ups are possible when a plan is marked as reloadable on its country page. A top-up adds both data and days to the same eSIM for the same coverage, so you don't need a new QR code. A different country needs a new eSIM.

The plans are data only. Its FAQ says you do not get a phone number unless a specific plan says otherwise, so you keep your home SIM for calls, texts and WhatsApp.

Buying, setup and the app

There is no Inbox eSIM app and no account. You pick a pack on the country page and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe; its FAQ says it does not take PayPal. After payment, the QR code and a one-tap install link arrive by email, usually within about a minute according to its site. On iOS 17.4 and later the install is one tap.

Its terms and FAQ don't mention any ID check, and checkout asks for an email address rather than an account. Your phone must be unlocked and support eSIM.

Most packs start their validity when the phone first connects to a covered network, so you can install on Wi-Fi before you fly. Without an app, you check remaining data in your phone settings or through the order lookup page, which its FAQ says can lag by two to three hours. The eSIM cannot be moved to another phone once installed.

Support and refunds

Support is by email only, at hello@inboxesim.com. Its contact page says it answers 24/7 and replies in minutes; we have not tested this. There is no live chat or phone line listed. Its FAQ says support emails can also be in Turkish.

The refund policy is clear. If the eSIM is unused and not installed, you can ask for a full refund to your card within 30 days of issue. Once the QR code has been scanned or the profile is on the phone, remaining data is not refunded. If the eSIM is not issued within an hour of payment, the refund is automatic. Buyers in the EU and UK also have a 14-day right to withdraw until the eSIM is installed.

Its refund policy also says that if an installed eSIM never connects at all, it will take this up with the network and refund or replace the pack if the fault is on the network's side. Refunds always go back to the card, never as store credit.

Is Inbox eSIM legit?

Inbox eSIM is run by White Cats Software, LLC, a company registered in Delaware, USA, according to its terms and imprint page. It publishes clear terms, privacy, refund and fair-use pages, and names its suppliers: Stripe for card payments, Cloudflare for security and Resend for order emails. It does not publish a street address or a VAT number.

It is a very new brand. Public WHOIS records show the inboxesim.com domain was registered in August 2026. We found no Trustpilot page for it and it has no app, so there are no app store ratings either (October 2026). That doesn't mean anything is wrong, but there is little public track record to go on yet.

How we score providers

Each review scores price per GB against the other providers we compare (35%), coverage (20%), plan flexibility (15%), terms such as ID checks, hotspot and refunds (15%), and the app and support (15%). Prices come from our live plan data and terms from each provider's own pages. Affiliate commissions never change a score.

Inbox: questions travellers ask

Is Inbox eSIM legit?

It is run by White Cats Software, LLC, a Delaware company, and publishes clear terms and refund rules. It is very new, with its domain registered in August 2026, and we found no Trustpilot or app store ratings yet (October 2026).

Does Inbox eSIM allow hotspot?

Usually yes, according to its FAQ. The host network can still limit tethering, and if a pack does not allow it, the country page says so. On a Day Pass, hotspot use counts towards the 3 GB daily allowance.

Can I top up an Inbox eSIM?

Yes, if the plan is marked as reloadable on its country page. A top-up adds data and days to the same eSIM for the same coverage, with no new QR code.

Does Inbox eSIM include a phone number?

No. Its plans are data only unless a specific plan says otherwise, so you keep your home SIM for calls, texts and WhatsApp.

What is the Inbox eSIM refund policy?

Unused eSIMs that have not been installed can be refunded to your card within 30 days of issue. Once the profile is on your phone, remaining data is not refunded. If the eSIM is not issued within an hour of payment, the refund is automatic.

Does Inbox eSIM have an app?

No. The QR code and install link come by email and there is no account. You check data use in your phone settings or on its order lookup page.

Does Inbox eSIM need ID?

Its terms and FAQ don't mention any ID check, and checkout asks for an email address rather than an account.

Where does Inbox eSIM work?

It sells country packs, regional packs (Europe, Asia) and a Global pack. Its FAQ says a few places have no country pack yet, including Taiwan, which the Asia and Global packs cover. The country list beside this review shows where it works today.
