Prices are shown in euros, and its imprint says it does not charge VAT because it is registered as a small business.

Coverage and networks

mysim24 sells country plans as well as regional plans and global packages. The country list beside this section shows where it currently has plans.

According to its terms, mysim24 remains your contract partner but uses wholesale partners, naming eSIM Access and eSIMCard, along with local mobile networks. Plan pages list the networks, but some are marked as expected rather than confirmed. On its Japan page, for example, au/KDDI and NTT docomo are shown as expected networks that the supplier has not confirmed for that plan. Its terms say it does not guarantee coverage everywhere.

Plans and flexibility

mysim24 sells fixed-data plans and three unlimited tiers. According to its unlimited page, Unlimited gives 1 GB a day at high speed and then 512 kbps, Unlimited Plus gives 2 GB a day and then 2 Mbps, and Unlimited Premium gives 5 GB a day and then reduced speed. Validity depends on the plan: the Japan plans on its site run from 1 to 180 days.

Its FAQ says many eSIMs can be topped up without installing a new one. Its terms add that top-ups are only available on eSIMs marked for them, so check this before you buy. Plans do not renew automatically and there are no recurring payments.

Plans are data-only. Its FAQ says you can keep your home SIM active on a dual-SIM phone, though calls and texts on it follow your home tariff's roaming charges. On hotspot, the FAQ says tethering is possible in most countries and plans, with any limits shown on the plan.

Buying, setup and the app

Payments go through Stripe. Its homepage lists PayPal, Klarna, credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, while its FAQ says the methods offered depend on your device, country and order. You can buy with or without an account, and you get an invoice by email.

After payment, the QR code and manual activation details arrive by email and in your account or app. Its terms say validity usually starts when the eSIM first connects to a supported network, not at purchase, but the exact rule is set on each plan. Some plan pages say the activation rule has not been clearly confirmed by the supplier. Your phone must support eSIM and be unlocked.

mysim24 has apps for iOS and Android. The App Store does not yet show enough ratings for a score, and the Google Play listing shows 10+ downloads with no rating (October 2026).

Support and refunds

Support is by email at support@mysim24.de or through a contact form. Its contact page says the team usually replies within 24 hours, in German and English. We did not find live chat or phone support.

As a German seller, mysim24 offers a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of the contract, and you can use an online form to withdraw. Its withdrawal policy says sending the QR code or activation details does not on its own end this right. If you asked for the service to start before the 14 days ended and then withdraw, you may have to pay for the service already provided. Refunds are paid within 14 days, normally to the same payment method.

Its terms say your legal rights for faults or a service that is not delivered apply separately. For disputes about telecoms rules, you can go to the Federal Network Agency's telecoms arbitration service.

Is mysim24 legit?

mysim24 is run by a sole trader based in Waghäusel, Germany, according to its imprint. The imprint also says the business is not listed in the commercial register and has no VAT number yet. Its terms are governed by German law. We could not confirm when it started trading.

Its public track record is very small. Its Trustpilot profile was claimed in July 2026 but shows no reviews (October 2026). We could not find App Store or Google Play ratings. The homepage shows a 5.0 score from 8 reviews collected on its own site, some marked as written with a voucher, so we do not count them. Its terms do not mention an ID check.
